AD/and debt collectors

Just a quick question - I was discharged on the 17th June and within 48 hours I was alarmed to receive letters from debt collectors for debts pre-BR going back 2012. I have no new credit and the debts were all included in the BR so why are they starting again? Should I ignore them or just send a generic letter saying all of these debts were included in my BR of 2014/15?

If you need it there is a generic letter to adapt to suit here.

May also be worth informing your OR and forwarding them copies. Even after AD they may well send them a snotty letter.
Also check your credit files.

Debt collectors may have placed defaults on your files, so if they need correcting that is one good way top force them to recognise that it was part of your BR, and you would need to sort them sooner rather than later anyway.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
