Advice on Change of Address

Because of my son's health problems I have been acting on his behalf to set up a DMP with Step Change. He has a number of payday loans and a bank overdraft.
He has recently moved house and while the bank and Step Change have his new address, the others do not. I wonder now if I do have to tell the payday loan companies that he has moved. They have his email and mobile phone number and sadly his work number. I only hesitate to tell them because I am worried that somebody might come to his door and try to collect the debt. Any thoughts please.

Re the work phone.
My staff will not confirm/deny if someone is working for the company unless they can give a name and department. (Even then, its just 'I'll put you through')
On top of this, we will never confirm if someone is actually in unless we know where they are calling from.
May be worth him asking for a similar policy to be brought in at his place of work/no calls to be forwarded from them if it's becoming a problem.
You/he can also ask for the work number to be removed, and if they don't do this a complaint can be made on this basis. This needs to be done in writing, send from 2 different post offices on the same day 1st class and with proof of postage from both (it's free).
They can refuse to sign recorded delivery but will never know this way, however you'll need to keep the proofs for the Ombudsman/ICO later on if they don't adhere to this.💙💛 💔0
