Anyone know any lenders who will do a remortgage (equity release of) of a residental mortgage to purchase a buy to let?

Thanks in advance.

Don't lie on an application. Find the corect lender for what you are looking to achieve.

As Nationwide, for example, won't allow capital raising for BTL purchase, some lenders should be avoided as they will carry out checks to ensure the funds are used for the purpose for which they are allegedly being borrowed.

There are plenty of lenders who will do a remortgage for capital raising for this purpose, so lying would be unnecessary and foolish, IMHO.
