I did say who CAN not who DO (slight distinction) use tax avoidance schemes.
But the point is, the longer austerity goes on the more likely those that can, will avoid paying tax.
Greece is what our economy may look like in the future.
YES I agree more should be done to tackle Tax evasion and avoidance, but like Greece the UK athorities are VERY slow in tackling this problem and it is in danger of becoming the norm to pay as little tax as possible.
Also the "Working Class" are those in the workforce who are not owner / managers.Laters

So a market trader selling fruit and veg isn't working class as he owns his own business and an IT consultant on a grand a day is working class.
Glad we got that resolved.0 -

He has vested interest to make sure that any negotiations will fail and claim that his European counterparts are responsible for it.
All this is just a show, a little theater that he plays to save his party and himself from the public wrath that will follow the unavoidable Greek default.....
I completely agree. It would be interesting to know how long it was after the elections before the secret printing of new drachma began."When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson0 -
A fictitious fiscal debt of fictitious money.
Iceland told the world to go Foxtrot Oscar for its paper money and jailed those behind the scam.
It can be done and until it is we will never be free.I do Contracts, all day every day.0
