    If there is no GMP in the Friends Life S32 policy (you should confirm this with FL ) and no Guaranteed Annuity in the Zurich Policy, it might be worth considering transferring both into a Personal Pension and continuing to make monthly contributions?

    You might check with FL (now part of Aviva) what might be offered in this regard?

    The other possibility might be to transfer into the Standard Life/Prudential NHS AVC arrangement? It might be worth checking whether this would be a possibility?

    Your wife would need to contact the providers to explore her options.
