There is however, no need to be rude or sarcastic in replies. That is rude, unnecessary and low.
I have to agree Pinzy, I use this site as the majority of people are friendly and supportive. Many people are just starting out on their MSE journey and it is good to be alerted of the importance of checking small print on mailings regarding interest rates, particuarly when people are desperate and will clutch at straws without thinking clearly.
The vitriol in some the of replies was shocking and not in keeping with Forum Etiquette...
"Pls be nice to all MoneySavers. There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.
WSO, come over to DFW board instead, even if you not in debt as such. The people are lovely and not narrow minded.Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time :mad:0 -
When you have hardly any income, and no chance of getting a loan from anywhere else provident and companys like them can be of use, i recently got an argos card for a new fridge, i pay £5 a week, and pay back £20 interest on top.
These companys lend to high risk customers,. they have to pay people to come out and physically collect the money, so it's no wonder their interest rates are high.
But like many have said, if you dont like the rates, dont get the loan. simple.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
