Telephone interview for Pension Credit ?

I live on a State pension, £133.03 per week. A few weeks ago I got a letter from the Pension Service saying they needed to update the information they held on me and that they would be doing this by telephone interview on a given date. I stayed home to take the call, when it came through, the pensions person apologized and told me that no interview would take place on that day, no questions would be asked, he didn't give a reason. That seemed a little fishy to me, why go to all the trouble of arranging a telephone interview, I was on the phone with him and perfectly willing to answer any questions. My next pension payment went into my bank as normal, but then this week I check my bank statement to find a single pension credit payment of £2.02. I know this is a mistake but I'm sure it has everything to do with that telephone interview, I will be contacting them tomorrow, in the meantime I'm forced to rely on support from relatives. Has this happened to anyone else ?

So are you in receipt of State Pension and Pension Credit?

Has the Pension Credit been reduced leaving State Pension unchanged?

Are you receiving State Pension and Pension Credit as a single combined payment and has this been reduced?

Just got off the phone with them, I was on Pension Credit but because I've recently hit 65 I'm now on State Pension, they threw various figures at me which I still do not understand, but I will be getting more money, my big problem was that they only paid me £2:02 to get through the week, 10 mins on the phone with them this morning and they've fast tracked a payment through to my account of £165 which I should get later today. I was expecting this to involve a long call ending in frustration but it was all done quickly and efficiently. Very pleasant people to deal with.
