DREADFUL BRITAIN......
We're told we're the;
Fattest in Europe
Most drunk
Least active
Least productive (in work)
Shortest stay in maternity wards
70% of European card debt
Highest teen pregnancy
Worst literacy and math results
Highest domestic abuse
Highest abortion rate
Greatest inequality
Highest rents
Why then does the world want to come live here?

Well, the NHS, benefits, protection of law would all be high on the list I should think.
Theres been lots of interviews regarding Calais today. Earlier on the beeb they interviewed someone who wanted to come here to start a family and "get a house".
People are not stupid. We're seen as the land of riches where you can start a family and get yourself a warm and secure (compared to where they come from) roof over your head....PLUS endless healthcare.0 -

After years and years of using English as the lingua franca in Europe, where can immigrants from the continent who have been taught some English in school can simply walk in and work?
Second language spoken in other countries:
hmm English speaking countries? :rotfl::rotfl:
if you are say Italian, Spanish, etc even though life could be better in Poland, Slovakia, etc (plenty of jobs there) the language barrier is IMHO a disincentive....here, no need.0 -

The world doesn't. It is predominantly those in poor countries, with few job opportunities, those who are suffering oppressive governments and lack opportunities that come here.
Of course, many do realise that it really isn't as good as they have been told!

We did try to warn you this was coming....:cool:“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

I think the inaction of government over our housing 'crisis' (probably a bit strong, but what the heck) is terrible; that said, money paid in rent doesn't vanish, much of it will be spent by the landlord.
If the cost of housing in general was lower, and thus less money was going on mortgage payments, that would lead to more economic activity in other areas but it isn't the same thing.Having a signature removed for mentioning the removal of a previous signature. Any other made up ones you want to add to that list? I only spotted 3 that I know are false off the top of my head, and I think you've had the inaccuracy of these statements highlighted to you in the past.Having a signature removed for mentioning the removal of a previous signature. I can't believe the cost of renting. It's gone mental.
Literally, mind shaggingly bombastically mental.Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.0
