Remortgage query...

Hi
I have contacted a independent mortgage advisor for a virgin mortgage product and he has made a credit check and Id check and started my application process.
Later one he advised me there will a timescale of 2 months at least for the process to complete and when I enquired with another broker advisor from different company
with the same virgin product he can get the entire remortgage complete in 3 to 4 weeks maximum as virgin are quick in response time. So I then decided to go with the
second mortgage advisor and submitted all my documents (passport copy, bank statment, p60, payslip) and he has submitted my application to virgin. Before this I got a call
from cornwall survey company for a survey booking date next week.
The survey request came from my virgin on behalf of first mortgage advisor application.
Would there be any issue with my second application through with second mortgage advisor ? I dont want to proceed with the first mortgage advisor as there are no prompt response
and more delay.
Please help on this.

Thanks

So what happens if the solicitor takes three months to get to completion?

Once a mortgage offer is issued and the legal work starts, a mortgage broker's influence falls away to pretty much nothing.

i understand there could be delay with legal work. woud be there be any issue with the second application to virgin ? i still have the option to cancel the survey from the first one. It is not only for the delay reason i went to second one it is also their responses are not friendly and not committed.

You completed a second application to the same lender before cancelling the original?

Didn't your second adviser recommend cancelling the first application?

To be clear for the first application i still have not sent all my documents except my one month payslip & bank statement for lending limit checks but virgin instructed for survey thought i did not submitted all the documents required. Only with my second advisor i have submitted all my documents.
