Baileys Cheesecake!
Whip cream with a tub of cream cheese, add castor sugar & baileys to taste & put topping onto a digestive/butter base.

Chocolate fondue.... heat the cream gently and stir in chopped up chocolate (I tried some Sainsburys value stuff last week and it was really good) until it's all smooth and then dip bits of fruit in. It's fruit so it's healthy, right????? Yum yum yum.
You can freeze double cream too - I read that you have to whip it first but I think lots of people here just freeze it as it is and have no problems with it.

hi if you go on the bbc website they have loads of recipes in the cookery section0

Double cream freezes too so you don't need to use it all at once!
Just make sure that if you are going to use it as whipped cream when you defrost it that you whip it BEFORE freezing or else it goes a bit wonky.
Oh, and if you do freeze it, use an ice-cube tray as that way you can get small portions of the cream for coffee, soups etc without having to think of a way to use the rest of the block.
(doh - just noticed that Julia has already said that...)

Slice up a banana or two (or other suitable fruit perhaps) and put in a blender with a tub of cream, plus a nice dose of brandy (or gin or whatever you prefer). Blend for 30 seconds then pour into dessert bowls. Stick in the fridge to chill.
Dessert to die for. :drool:Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0
