URGENT! Tell Gordon Brown to Support Reclaiming
Comments
-
Yeah, tell Gordon Brown to support something that'll harm the profits of some of the largest companies in the country who are undoubtedly putting a serious amount of money into the economy though tax.
That's going to happen .
To be fair to the bloke, it looks like he may be stopping the proposed super casinos so I reckon he's demonstrated he has principles. Unlike that fat old croquet playing sod who was more than happy to take the free cowboy suit, lol.0 -
What happened?

Some solicitor guy took the banks to the High Court, last week, not satisfied with getting money for bank charges back, he wanted £££s in damages on top for them having done so. :rolleyes2
He lost and his greed will stop the courts and others looking favouribly on the subject in future.
Bet he sells his services on Ebay

Signed the petition. Was going to text Gordy but thought your appeal may carry more weight! One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.0 -
Signed,
Thanks Martin0 -
Signed it but doubt anything will happen as usual...
Nasa wanted to call the first space shuttle Constitution.
Just over 100,000 star trek fans petitioned the US president and it was renamed Enterprise.
1,811,363 (nearly 2 million) nearly 20 times the number who petitioned the US president asked Tony Blair to reconsider road toll charging, and he pretty much said I'm right, you're wrong. Consider the size of the US and the size of the UK and the difference is vast.
There's no such thing as outright democracy anywhere, the prime minister will always do what suits him.
Apologies for my (most likely well founded) pessimism.0 -
Having shareholders and profits to satisfy, the banks will look to regain track by seeking these losses and invariably their profit by other ways.
That's the fear, speaking as someone who has had nearly £2.5k back. One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.0 -
Signed:eek:
