Colleys Halifax survey

Hi
Any advice appreciated. Had an offer made on my property which we accepted. The buyers instructed Colleys for their survey for mortgage purposes......surveyor has down valued...BUT their report has according to the agents valued the property as leasehold, with a ground rent payable annually when the property is freehold!! I've doubled checked my title docs and the land registry and I am not wrong, I own the title absolute, freehold. This has spooked my FTBS and possibly cost me the sale!! Surely it's the first thing they should check when providing a report for lending!

According to the agents...
Ask the buyers for a copy of it, and then you can take it up with them/their solicitors/the surveyor.

Unless the surveyor thought the lease to have only a very short remaining term, the difference in value between freehold and leasehold would be minimal, if anything at all.I am a mortgage broker.
