    You cannot. Either trust her and lend the money or don't. Whether you think it is being sarcastic or not the advice is sound. You can read on these forums the numerous posts about similar situations that went wrong and people struggling to get their money back.

    If you trust her then lend her the money. If you have sufficient doubt that you need the additional assurance of a written contract then don't. If you do lend the money be aware that you may loose both friend and money.
