Moving Home mortgage query

I am currently in the process of putting my house on the market which has a mortgage on with HSBC at a pretty fair variable rate at 2.99% above base for the whole duration of the mortgage, I have inherited some money which will be invested in the new property. So I can buy a more expensive house without increasing the mortgage. Now I have spoken to HSBC who say I can move the mortgage with me but I will also get some further advice. I'm looking at a property of a max value of 215 with a mortgage of 95. I think i'm sorted on that but if anyone thinks they can offer any advise please carry on.
My next question is Credit Cards, I have 3 one 0% with a balance of £2k on, and the other two are paid off each month and just used for cashback. I'd like to cancel one but I am reluctant to do one until I have the new mortgage in place so my question is will the credit cards being kept or cancelled benefit or go against me in any way? The one card has a limit of £4,500 and the other £2,250. I can also still see my Halifax one on my account which has a limit of £5,750? I have heard that cancelling them at a time when you will be arranging new mortgages can look like you have had them taken off you?
Any advice on any of the above will be welcomed.

I have 4 credit cards with a total limit of £30,000 and an Amex charge card. Current balance about 2k but the mortgage lender hasn't batted an eye lid so far. Just keep your balances low or ideally pay them off.
Cancelling cards can be negative especially if you cancel an old one. Lenders like long term history0 -
Thanks for that, I will wait until we've moved and then close them down. It's only the 0% one that keeps a balance on it, the other two are paid off each month.0
