ILA Courses

Hi, I've the chance to do a course for free and it will be paid by ILA, which I'm very grateful for. The chances are if your currently not working like myself you'll most likely get it to. Although I'm not sure if this just applies to just Scotland or the rest of the UK as well.

Anybody on here done any courses through ILA? I'm not sure what I want to spend my funding on so looking for ideas?

I have narrowed it down to two courses, I'm thinking of getting my CSCS card to do construction/labouring work. Or using the funding to get my SIA card so I can do security work like security guard or officer.

Two totally different career paths them two, but I think I'm siding with getting my SIA for security work. Anyone do this for a living?
