Dust cooked chickpeas in flour and spices and fry til crispy (although next time I make this I might try roasting them) and then serve with a mushroom sauce (fry chopped mushrooms in lots of butter, add flour to make a roux and then use stock or milk to make a sauce) I serve it with boiled rice (I think this is a Rose Elliot recipe) And it's easy to make a hand bashed hommous, add lots of garlic lemon juice and tahini. Plus I love them in veggie curries and with chorizo tomato stews
