Skipton sick pay

Hello,
So i have been off work for 2 months due to surgery and I am due to return on 25th July. I receive full sick pay for 6 months so my salary has not changed.
I have a DIP in place with Skipton but was wondering if they will throw it out as my last 2 payslips are 100% sick pay?
Will an employers reference help?
Thanks

Did you apply to Skipton directly or through a broker?
In either case did you/the broker check whether sick pay was a ok or not?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Hi ACG,
I originally went with a broker that Barratts wanted me to go with. I gave him my details and he got me a DIP with Skipton. Unfortunately the house fell through. When I found another new build the broker didnt want to know as he was getting paid through Barratts and this was another developer.
I am going to call Skipton myself and see if I can continue the application without the broker.
So my honest answer is... Im unsure what he did/didnt tell Skipton!0 -
FROM MEMORY (and after a very pleasant few Sunday pints) - Skipton won't touch an application while on sick leave (I think we were hawking one of these round last month with little success).Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Thank you for replying.
Will this be the case if i apply on Thursday when i return? My past two payslips say sick pay though.
Also if my broker got me the DIP can i call them and do the full application directly?
Many thanks0 -
No you would need to start the process from scratch. Factfind with one of their "advisors" etc etc.
Nothing stopping you sticking with skipton though if you choose.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
