Electric tooth brush does not hold charge for long enough

Good Morning Folks
I have had my electric tooth brush for just over 3 years now. The brush works perfectly except the battery does not seem to hold the charge for long enough, and I have to virtually charge it overnight every night.
Would you suggest I keep doing that or spend money and buy a new one?
Thanks

Buy a new one. 3 years of daily use is good for a rechargeable battery - they don't last forever.

I had to get a new one for the same reason.0 -
Some the batteries are replacable but need soldering in.0

Both! Buy a new one BUT wait to get to the end of the sales when things tend to be reduced far more. Slaes usually start around now and end by around August when new things start to be bought in.0

Water has probably got inside. If you take it apart, you'll probably find it's slightly rusty and the internal battery needs replacing. If you clean the circuit, remove the rust, replace the battery, and wrap electrical tape around the end of the circuit, this will make it more waterproof and it will last a lot longer.
That being said, it's a lot of faff for a toothbrush, so you might be inclined to just buy a new one. A couple of the well known brands are known to make the products poorly sealed - probably to make them replacable more often.0
