Hindsight is a wonderful thing but if you had a well paid job then did you not consider increasing the repayments to clear the debt quicker?
In future if you find yourself in a similar situation I would suggest you try and up any repayments to finally try and get rid of this debt."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -

I did do exactly that! I believe the debt was originally somewhere around £4000 originally so that job actually helped me clear off a lot of it! I've got an interview coming up soon so I will be making the absolute maximum repayments I could possibly afford! Thank you for your advice 😁0 -
They are an actual solicitor firm in Leicester. They are the firm my company employs and I am regularly paying them!
They are very easy to talk to so I would call them and speak to a human. If they receive no contact they will follow through with what they say in their letter.
I managed to get through to them today and as you said they were very friendly and not half as scary as I imagined!
I'm keeping in contact with them and can now hopefully avoid any court action!0
