can he claim tax back

in Cutting tax
my husband is working on short term for various companiess eg Dec14 to May15 at one place now with another employer for approx 6 months. Some work is via an agency some isnt. Can he claim back the tax paid on fuel to go too and from work? we have been told he can is this correct.

Maybe, we'd need to know his employment status in each job. Any where he is an employee of the place where he's working won't be eligible for claiming travel to and from work.0
