Black horse car finance withdrawal letter
Options
Hi,
In Feb 2015. I bought a car through black horse finance and withdrew the finance agreement by settling the full amount with in 15 days as i did not want to pay the costs which were not explained to me by the car dealer.
Now my home mortgage is approved with an other lender but before they role out the formal offer letter they are asking for a written confirmation from black horse that the finance was closed. But Black horse are saying they can't provide a confirmation as the agreement was withdrawn. (Finance didn't exist)
Is there any other way for me to can get a written confirmation from them? I have tried explaining to the mortgage company by providing evidence of loan documents and the settlement amount going out to black horse from my bank statement, but they are still very keen on written confirmation from black horse.
Any suggestions please?

Can't you get a copy of your credit report and show them the lack of finance agreement there?
I'm curious, if you withdrew from the agreement rather than paying it off early, how do your mortgage lender even know you had this finance deal, as if you've withdrawn from it it shouldn't feature on your credit report at all.0 -
Thank you nidO. That's a good idea. I thought mortgage lenders have access to my credit report. If they have access why are they still asking for written confirmation. I had used Experian 30 day trail before 2 years and opted out once I found out my score. I will sign up again.
Lender know about the car loan as my wife had taken a interest free loan from her employer to clear off my car loan and it shows up on her payslip as monthly deductions.0 -

Won't Black Horse write a letter saying what I have highlighted above?"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0
