Well tonight I made my first curry! But, I couldn't find several of the right ingredients from my local Asda (lemon grass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves).

Where's the best place online to get such ingredients, Googling I get 'a lot' of shops. Are there any recommended?

    All available at Sainsburys
    Lemongrass http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/shop/gb/groceries/sainsburys-fresh-lemongrass-sticks-x2Galangal http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/shop/gb/groceries/sainsburys-fresh-galangal-100g
    Lime Leaves http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/shop/gb/groceries/herbs-spices-seasoning/sainsburys-kaffir-lime-leaves-25g

Personally though, I grow my Lemongrass so I always have a supply, my Kaffir lime leaves I buy a large bag from a local Asian shop and Galangal I buy when I need it from Sainsbobs

    The Asian Cookshop.

I haven't used them for a while, about 6/7 months ago, after reading about them on MSE, and gave them a try.

Their title is somewhat misleading, as they also stock herbs, spices, groceries from China, Spain, the West Indies and many other countries.

The delivery charge was about £3.40 (free if orders were over £30.00). I think they are based in Essex, and also have a Cash & Carry shop. I can't vouch for their current standard of service, as I usually buy my herbs and spices from the market or independent grocery shops, but was pleased with my purchases, however, they could not beat the price on the Aldi Soy Sauce at 49p for a 150ml bottle.
