hi there
just recived letter about unplanned overdraft - used wrong card
i was refused twice for the mortgage and then accepted for the 3rd time
then we have changed to another property
another application was made today and i also recived letter today about the overdraft on the 16/06/15 so 2 days ago
the most important question here:
Would it affect my mortgage application in any way?
Will that be visible for the lender?

Is using your overdraft a rare thing for you? Some banks will waive fees for it if it's a 'one-off'...0

If they waive the fee then I imagine that it's as if you never touched the overdraft in the first place, and so wouldn't cause problems. Worth ringing up and asking?0 -
When you say "unplanned overdraft," is that a euphemism for "unauthorised borrowing?"
In other words, did you exceed an authorised overdraft limit or did you overdraw when you had no agreed limit? These are treated the same way.
This is a majort issue for some lenders, so bank account provider name and mortgage lender name, please?I am a mortgage broker.
