in Cutting tax

According to information from my employer and information* on gov.uk, relocation assistance of up to 8,000 GBP is tax free if it falls under certain qualifying categories (moving costs, buying certain things for a new home). Can you please help me and
Thanks a lot for your help!

- help me understand how to claim back tax that was taken out of the relocation reimbursement payment (ie. what forms to fill out etc.)

I'm sorry no-one's come back to you on this.
I'd ask your payroll administrator to check this: it may be an error which can be corrected, if not they should be able to explain why THIS payment is taxable.Signature removed for peace of mind0
