Hi all
I am on the sick for four weeks, and looking to try and boost income while off, and hopefully beyond.
I have registered up to Swagbucks, and even found a code for registering with 50 free points.
Now what? I've watched some shows, watch ten videos for 3 swagbucks!
How do I increase the earning potential? Am I missing something here?
2500 points seems a long long loooooooong way away.
Anyone got any hints/tips on how I can earn more?

You need this thread
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5142744
it tells you everything you need to know, but also be aware that there are several other sites very similar to Swagbucks - there are threads on those too if you scroll down this page. Good luck.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Thats great Joey
Thanks for your help.
I figure I am not going to earn enough to retire on, but if I start now, I may have enough for xmas presents.
Am I right in thinking 849 Swagbucks is £5 Amazon voucher?
If thats true, people will be getting Amazon vouchers in with their cards, or they will be getting gifts from there!

Yes, 849 is £5. You get better rates if you save up for bigger redemptions - its all there on the first couple of posts in that thread link I shared.
Swagbucks is ok for about £1-2 a day mostly passive income with minimal activity from you. However other survey sites and PTC sites will pay more for things like Crowdflower tasks, surveys etc so its good to do a mix.

Final question (for now)
Do they post out a physical gift card to my home address? Or am I emailed a code?
I used to use topcashback a lot, and liked that I could get an actual gift card to use a present.
Just so I know if I can send cousins etc the gift card, or whether I personally need to buy something as the swagbucks are in my name?Mortgage: 01/02/14 - £108k

Swagbucks email the code.0

Flyonthewall is spot on. The code is emailed like most of these sites. You could just post the code into your card, or create your own giftcards. Also you need to be aware that you can only get 5 of any gift card in a calendar month - so you could get 5 £5 Amazon vouchers but then you'd either have to wait til next month to get more or switch to £10s or a different store. They have John Lewis and a few more places these days.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

old USA rule when $5 agc's were discounted that no longer applies. Only limit at the moment is 2 gc's per day.
other things are covered in the swagbucks thread

Thanks fragmented - I hadn't realised that had changed, and I was just coming back to say to FLC that I am no expert on SB and to check out the main thread where you guys seem to have everything covered. Thanks again.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300
