    Not critical not security often updated drivers .
    Might even be add on programs like Skype .

    Only if I think I'll need them.

    Microsoft seem to be using increasingly vague descriptions of some of the updates. But you can usually get some idea of what they are related to.

    Yes, well the vast majority of them. I usually check what they are for, occasionally there will be the odd one I don't bother with. Never had one cause any problems though.

    I usually do, after checking.
    MS does keep offering updates for my LAN card with drivers from a completely different make.
    This is now a known issue between Realtek and Inventec.
    Move along, nothing to see.

    Same here, I ignore the NET ones for instance

  • Often those updates fix holes in Windows - so yes, I install whenever they're available

    The days of updates crashing your computer are mostly long gone now so there's no real reason not to.

    I do mostly. There are a few that I don't such as the skype one, and I have a network card driver one that I am not installing as it breaks my network card when installed.
