Survey fee with mortgage application

Good afternoon
My mortgage advisor submitted our mortgage application with Halifax on Thursday. I have just checked my Cc balance and see that the survey fee is pending.
Does this mean my mortgage application has been or accepted can it still get rejected
Thank you

No, it doesn't mean anything I'm afraid. The valuation will be booked and carried out but it's still possible your application would be denied.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

It means it was accepted at submission, so the fee is collected automatically.
Until the documentation has been checked and approved and the valuation done and the mortgage offer issued, you don't get a "mortgage approved" sticker from Halifax.I am a mortgage broker. A survey is different to a valuation. As it is more comprehensive and goes beyond a simple mortgage valuation, these will be instructed straight away typically.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Does that mean one hurdle down if passed at submission? I appreciate nothing is certain until we sign in the dotted line0

It means virtually nothing, they have logged your application onto their computer system and started processing it.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
