MEAF - I have no paperwork on my old Woolwich Mortgage

Hello,

I had a Woolwich Open Plan Flexible Mortgage from 2001 to 2003 before remortgaging with Nationwide. I have very little paperwork from that time, other than a redemption statement which includes a 'redemption fee' of £150 - is this the same as the MEAF or not?

Should I just send them the template letter and use the first paragraph?

Cheers
Sezz

You will be due a refund of £55 plus interest as the Woolwich charged £95 in 2001 for a redemption fee which is the same as MEAF. Just quote the account number and your bank details and they will send directly to your bank
