Nationwide Fast Track Mortgage: What does it mean to me?

We've recently applied to Nationwide for a top up on our current fixed rate mortgage (as we are moving) and have been fast tracked.
We are looking to borrow an extra £30k so the mortgage would be about 82% of the property value.
Does anyone have experience of a fast track mortgage with Nationwide and be able to explain what it will mean to me, i.e. timelines, whether they will write to my employer etc...
Thanks in advance.

fast track just means that they do less checks and are you are a safe bet. I wouldnt like to say they wont do employer checks because they always reserve the right but its unlikely they will ask for wage slips etc.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
