Mystery shopping - holiday offer

A friend has been doing a few bits of mystery shopping for a company. She's forwarded me an email offering mystery shopping breaks at a holiday camp through the summer holidays. It says that they will reimburse the accommodation costs, 3 meals a day per person plus shopping and activities taken during the break on submission of a report and receipts. Sounds like a great way to get a free break to me, but am just a bit concerned about it. Looking online the break will cost over £1k for 4 nights. That's a lot of money to risk not getting back.
Has anyone any experience of this? Is it a scam?

Is this with Retail Active? If so, this is a reputable company. It's not exactly a free holiday-in return you will be expected to write a detailed report on various aspects of the holiday. They are likely to have lots of applications during the school break so shoppers with the best feedback and who have not cancelled shops at short notice before will be chosen.notanewuser wrote: »A friend has been doing a few bits of mystery shopping for a company. It is. The email said it could be passed on to non-registered friends and family.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
Yes this is legit- I thought it was REACT offering these though, not Retail Active! It depends what your idea of a holiday is! This would not be my idea of a relaxing break!Minimalist
