Any ideas on sourceing chairs please

Options
Im getting married in Aug and having a garden party. At first had about 20 people on my list but it has now gone up to 38.

Ive been begging and borrowing garden chairs and even dining room chairs to use on the day but have only mustered up 22. Wasn't panicking at first but now as the numbers have escalated and the time is getting closer Im getting a bit worried.

As its just for the day I wanted to hire some but the only 2 hire companies I could find locally don't want to now as the number I need is too small. One company advertised chairs for hire quite cheaply but then also want £70 to deliver them 8 miles away because even though they advertise they will do small quantities my order would be under the £200 threshold.

Does anyone know of anyone in the Bolton/Wigan area that would be willing to loan me around 30 chairs from Friday to Monday?

You will struggle because of the seriously small numbers - most have either minimum order quantities or costs.

Why not ask guests to bring chairs a couple of days before? I'm sure most people have something they can use.

Also there's only been an increase of 18 people in your numbers but you want 30 chairs; most places are a minimum of 50 chairs.

We borrowed about 20 chairs from our church hall for our silver wedding Anniversary - they didn't charge us. We begged and borrowed the rest as we needed 50 in total.

I was going to suggest approaching your local village hall/church/school who might be willing to lend out some of their plastic chairs for a small donation to their funds.

Don't forget nurseries, they might have chairs as well. But all those places probably would not offer the delivery.
