IATA new guidelines for cabin Baggage

In the last week, various reports have emerged that cabin luggage is to become a standard size of 55x35x20cm (some sites' sizes vary so is even more confusing!)
We are just about to buy new hand luggage and I would like a decent ish make with a guarantee.
Whilst all airlines have not yet signed up to IATA guidelines, it appears this is to become the norm.
We would prefer wheeled luggage - any suggestions please? Xx:beer::beer:

Debenhams have plenty of good cabin bags at bargain prices: http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Navigate?langId=-1&storeId=10701&catalogId=10001&txt=cabin+luggage
If you think the IATA guidelines are likely to be widely adopted, just pick one that complies with these - all the cases show their dimensions.0 -
That's just it - most are too big - I read that there are meant to be cabin bags with an 'IATA approved' sticker... I can't find any and as I need to buy ASAP for end July, don't want to have to pay out twice ... Most are 50 x40 x20 . X0

Given that these guidelines have only just been issued, there aren't many bags around with the 'IATA approved' sticker you are hoping for - let alone at reduced prices. Might be worth buying an ultra-cheap one for now and then investing in a good quality cabin bag once the reductions kick in?0

Hi when do the changes start from?
