Thanks for all the replies folks, in relation to the above quote he was reccomended by a letting agent who asked why we wanted to rent, then said to go with the advisor as he'd surely be albe to help us, which doesn't seem to be the case.0 -

Oh, and the default has 11months left to run, not 11 months into it.
It was listed on the 25th of May 2010 after Black Horse finance didn't ammend my address on file, (another story) it was settled in April just gone (credit file shows it as settled on the same date it first defaulted) default amount was £5305 but they accepted £3000 as full and final payment.0
