bank statements and proof deposit

in Mortgages & endowments
hi all
looking for some guidance on mortgages.
need 20k deposit to move up the ladder, got 10k in sale of current property, 4k in bank and 6k in sale of car
selling car private on flea bay so how can i prove source for this?? want my application to go smoothly


also on my main bank account where my wages go in i have a few bank transfers in/out to other accounts eg 2nd bills bank account, savings etc so will i have to show statements for these

    Yes, if you have transfer towards your deposit from other accounts the lenders will want to see the statements.

    I own 2 cars, modern and classic

    transfers are going out and nothing to do with deposit

    have a car buyer coming around tonight, if I paid the 6k off my mortgage balance would it affect the application as I have already had a dip or am I just worrying over nothing
