CEL - Curzon Cinema Knutsford - Cancellations by Curzon

Just some information for anyone reading this who receives/received a PCN from CEL whilst attending The Curzon Cinema in Knutsford.

Despite CEL rejecting appeals from genuine customers, complaints to the management of The Curzon have been successful in getting these charges cancelled.

It may also be useful to know The Curzon are not the landowners at this site. They lease the property from Cheshire East Council.

I was very sympathetic, and helped them to get the information they need to register their appeals over the fines. I have given them screenshots of their cinema bookings, and hope the fines will be quashed.

...is the wrong answer. He should take control and instruct CEL to cancel the charge, not to make an already frustrated and irritated customer jump through ridiculous hoops.

The Cinema manager at the time of that article was a woman called Maggie Ashworth.

Rumour has it she is no longer there
