in 12 months time ill have a default drop of my file, its from a loan which NatWest have said they are no longer chasing. so once the default drops from my file will I be clean or because I never repayed the loan will it still be classed as been indebt and affect how much I can apply for
que the " repay your debts bla bla "
I tried to continue repayments twice but boths times they said there is no loan to pay as its been archived.
the other day when I switched my Lloyds bank to yorkshire bank in the branch they managed to get all my credit history up on the screen and said apart from that one problem my credit history is immaculate ,and even asked me then if I am not interested in one of there mortgages as I only need a 5% deposit

Hi,
Your default will drop from file (vanish) and your credit rating will go back to normal, (See the BUT below)
Unfortunately Natwest may sell your debt to a collection agency and they will try and call you, do soft credit searches etc. just ignore them.
My advice for you is spend the next 12 months paying your bills on time and zero balancing your credit card each month and plan to have an excellent rating in advance.
If you fail to plan then you will plan to fail.0 -

sorry it wasn't the counter, a customer missed an appointment and the only person that could see me was a mortgage adviser ( that's what they said inaway) in some small room
I had 2 CC one wich I just closed, the other I set up a DD to pay in full each month, I havn' had a missed payment / late payment in a couple of years now0
