Whose name is the policy written in? Yours, your son's, both, your ex-partner's?
What address does the provider have on file?
Why do you want to change the name on the policy?
Your original post was unclear and lacked detail.0 -
it is inmy sons name I am on the statements the company say the policy is his and cannot change it without signature from both him and me I wanted it to be paid out to me he is 17 now0

You seem to have your answer straight from the horse's mouth.
The policy owner is your son and without his confirmation the benefits won't be paid to you.I am a mortgage broker. It might be an idea to think about why you took out the policy for him in the first place. It's not his fault that you split up with his mother and haven't been able to see him, and he is still your son, so wouldn't it be better to just let him use the money for university/car/whatever would benefit him?0 -
I would love him to have it but he wants nothing to do with me because of his mother and at the present time it is needed for a more important issue. My mother has no electric because the very old board blew0
