My new build completion is due end of this month, ive been very good for 6 months and not obtained any credit and kept everything cash only. I am in the trade and opened a new account from a rep with howdens joinery, i did not know it was going to be a bloody credit account, i only found out when i went instore to buy something to find out i have a 10k limit which i did not want at all, now my worry is have i now caused a probable situation with my mortgage being declined just moments before its due to go into the builder s account?
Thanks in advance

Mine is due to complete in December and I've just increased my overdraft and credit card limit but zero balance it each month.
I would close the account down asap and file a complaint with the company that you entered a credit agreement and was miss advised. Demand that they remove it from your file. if its too late then maybe tell the lender cause the end of the day you don't owe any money on the 10k limit.
