Cheap places to rent near Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire?
Just seen an advert for a job I would love, based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.
I'm in Wales at the moment so it would be a complete relocation, so before I apply I wanted to check I could afford to live there. Did a quick search on the usual sites and the cheapest flat was around £750 :eek: Where I am now you can get somewhere decent for around the £4-500 mark but could get something for £250-300 if you really wanted.
I don't know the area at all, is there a cheaper area within commuting distance I could look in?

That's the going rate in most of mid to southern england.
