Piffed Computer Scammer Now Won't Stop Calling

He will soon get bored.
It's probably not advisable to tell someone to foxtrot Oscar when they've got your phone number0 -
I also strongly recommend Tru-Call. Just get one! Not one more nuisance call will get through! If one does get through, you just press the hash key and that caller can never get through again!
It costs £90+ but worth every penny. Great gift too for people who are having trouble with incoming calls.0 -

Phone rang, I have caller Display which showed Out Of Area. Now usually I ignore these, but my brother in Canada has rang twice this week about family matter.
I answered and Indian voice said, "Hello Mrs.......(I am not a Mrs anyway), this is Computer Solutions." Told him to !!!! of as I knew he was a scammer and hung up. Phone rang straight away and I didn't answer, but checked in case it was my brother as he would leave a message. Oh yes message left full of abuse and stating he would ring and ring and ring. Which he did like every 15minutes phone is ringing. I of course not answering. Now I am with Virgin so contacted them. Was told to register with Silent Gard which is free and deals with silent calls and things International. It takes 24 hours to kick in, but not sure it will work. So sitting with phone unplugged as he is ringing every 15-20 minutes must be in between scamming others.
Virgin did say it it continues they will try to do something, but I think that means changing my phone number. Don't really want that.
Any ideas what I can do?
Thanks.
So you were the one who was first to give abuse? Why are you complaining when it's returned? Strange.0 -

It's not strange though is it? If somebody is trying to scam you, you don't think they're entitled to get some abuse?0 -

It's not strange at all. Just shows you've never had the privilege of receiving these nuisance calls. You need to get out more, or is it stay in more? They did it because he was a scammer and knew what was in store.“Learn from the mistakes of others. You can never live long enough to make them all yourself.”

So I am suppose to say sorry but I don't want you to try to scam me by infecting my computer and raiding my bank account?
Great real. Telling someone to P*ss off I know you are a scammer. And being called a C*nt and threatening to keep phoning to all the time in a message.
I will think about True Call, as I said I was told to register with Silent Gard which I have. Its the new government thing to stop silent calls and automatic dialing of numbers or withheld internationally. Will see if it works, was told takes 24 hours to kick in, if not will get True Call.
About the BT phone, I actually meant would the service work with Virgin phone line?
Thank you for all your help, I have the phone plugged in and so far all quiet.0 -

They are annoying, I also receive upto 15 calls a day (not from same people) from unwanted nuisance calls, ie, PPI, Free kitchen vouchers, Free Holidays etc. some are those annoying automated messages, which some give the option to press 9 to opt out (DON'T) I once done that and was charged for the call about £5-6. I am also registered for TPS but it doesn't stop these idiots.Need to get rid of my Yankee Candle Habit, Not very money saving of me0

+1 to Zagfles.
Answer the phone, if it's him, put the phone down next to your washing machine or other noisy appliance and leave it, come back to it a couple of hours later. Kudos to him if he's still on the line, that would be a whole new level of obstinacy.
Maybe get the international call blocking and communicate with your brother through other means, Skype, text etc, until said affronted scammer has eventually decided to stop.0
