Sorry I meant will he and his wife to be.. help towards bills during the interim of after you have brought him and out before they move out. If so, your outgoings wont be as high as you think to begin with.
This is very true. I have done spreadsheet after spreadsheet. What they give me I will most likely overpay on the mortgage as I am doing it earlier than I thought.
Just have to hope everything goes through smoothly and I can access properly what my outgoings will be.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

I think I will just enjoy having the house to myself and my daughters. They are just a little bit (ok, who am I kidding, very) excited about the fact that they get their own rooms.
I'm not going to kid myself, it will be tough, but every time I can make an overpayment, I will.
Still waiting for the mortgage offer though, harumphh!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Well, I have a mortgage offer, but I only know about it as I rang Nationwide yesterday for an update and they said it had been done at 12.01pm yesterday.
I still haven't received a text or e-mail from Nationwide, so can only hope the lady was telling the truth.
Next steps are to hear from my solicitor who said they are awaiting the offer in the post, and then hopefully completion at some point soon (although with my brother going away for a month at the end of the week, I'm not overly optimistic).Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

I don't have a mortgage offer! This really is getting ridiculous! Nationwide's computer had a glitch last week and I keep getting mortgage offers in the post, but only for the amount of my existing mortgage. No mention of the 2nd mortgage of £95,000.
They say it should all be sorted and I should have an offer by the end of this week.
I have established that it will then be valid for 6 months which is good as I had thought it was 3 months from when I did the application.
I'm not in any particular rush as I already live in the house, but it is annoying.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Oh no - computer glitch! How annoying, hope you get the actual offer soon.
PS I had the exact same prob with the tax credit letter, glad it wasn't just my bank!0 -
Still waiting. It's actually laughable now. The glitch on the computer has meant that I have been sent a mortgage offer 7 times in the post now, but it is still only for the existing mortgage on the house, not the additional mortgage I need.
Rang up the branch of Nationwide where I had my initial meeting and spoke to the man who submitted my application and he apologised and said I should have rang him sooner blah blah blah.
Every time I rang up the main call centre of Nationwide, they kept telling me the same thing. That it would be done in a couple of days. But the computer thought it had done its job and so nothing was done ... and then I'd ring up again.
The end result is, like I said, I'm still waiting, but the man at the branch of Nationwide said they are now handwriting my offer manually and I should receive it by Thursday.
I'm not pushed for it now as my brother is on honeymoon until 19th October, but still it is annoying. Hopefully the house will be in my name this side of Christmas!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
