cardholder debit card and pay at pump

Does anyone else have trouble using cashminder debit card at pay at pump?
I never had trouble before but recently I'm not able to use this facility at Tesco.

  • I've been using the Co-op Cashminder debit card for almost a year now, including pay at pump at Tesco and never had any problems. Are you sure the card isn't damaged?

No I don't think the card is damaged as it works in cashpoint and chip and pin machine.
I've used pay at pump loads of time with no problem but just recently it won't except it yet when I pay in kiosk it works ok.

My experience is as betterdays....no problems at all....

If there are issues, it is the machine, and not your card.

This is something i have noticed more & more recently, with card [chip] readers which sustain heavy usage.....[some Mcdonald's readers are the same...they usually understand the problem, or switch machines.].....it is about time these big corporations dipped a bit more into their dwindling profits, and had the readers serviced better?

What about applying for a VAnquis visa credit card? Then use that?
No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......

My cards used to work fine but recently my local Tesco has changed their machine and they now have a note on them with a list of cards that won't work in their machines, so I don't think it's your card either
