hi
i've just had my first attempt at using the Easiyo yesterday
i put it on at 8am, and when i checked it yesterday (4.30pm) it was still really runny.
so i've left it overnight, and its STILL runny!
i used a litre of UHT milk, 3tbsp dried milk and a pot of Yeo valley live yoghurt
I've left the flask in the Easiyo,in the fridge. i'm hoping it'll thicken up a bit more, but is this normal? or where did i go wrong?

The yogurt bacteria need to be warm to multiply and thicken your yogurt. I have a yogurt maker that keeps the pots warm overnight on a small hotplate.
You say you've left yours in the fridge. It sounds as if yours is too cold, though as I don't use an Easiyo, I'm not fully sure.

if you are doing home made yoghurt in the easiyo as against using the sachets then i think you just need 1 tbsp of natural yoghurt not the whole pot0

I'm having exactly the same problem with the Easiyo - really runny and tastes weak. I'm sticking mine through a strainer to see if that helps, but if not, I'm sure it will make good bread and pancakes."All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -
thanx for your replies........i'm trying not to be disheartened, and have another go!! i'll use this batch to make yogurt drinks!!
i think i'll have another go using less live yogurt and a bit more dried milk powder......i'm not gonna let it beat me!!0
