Warts!

Hi, I am 30 years old and recently a wart appeared on my face. It is skin colored and like a raised bump. Since its on my face, I don't like it. I tried putting duct tape on it, but it didn't come off. I also applied freshly crushed garlic on the wart, but it didn't go away. Are there any other home remedies that I can try? There is a facial vein treatment clinic here in Thornhill ( Vaughan Vein Clinic) They said they can get rid of it. Since my insurance won't cover it, I'm not sure if I should opt for that. Please suggest some ways to get rid of it. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure it's a wart?

Is there a reason you don't want to go to your Dr and have him/her look at it?

Any skin lesion appearing anywhere should really be checked out by someone proper.
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

Sounds more like a skin tag than a wart.

Or a fatty lump, but self diagnosis and Dr Google has a lot to answer for.

I don't think we're meant to give medical advice on here, but if you go onto YouTube and put in "facial warts" as a search term you'll probably see a few remedies, etc
