Natwest or Platform mortgage

Has any one deal with lender Platform(Co-op Bank) and do they generally lends more than say Natwest?
According to my mortgage broker.......
Santander(Abbey mortgage) affordability calculator said we could get xx amount.
AIP was done and it was 25k less than the affordability calculator. Broker spoke to Santander and they said they could see other loans on background that I did not declare. i.e the less lending. That is not true I declared everything and nothing else showing on my experian and equifax.
Then the AIP with Natwest. It is more than santander but not enough.
Platform's affordability calculator says they'd lend me what I want. but I'm worried to do another AIP as it is too many check done within a short space of time.
What is the way forward?
Should I do an AIP with Platform? or
Should I make the full application to Natwest and ask them to lend more?
Any advise please

He sort of left it to me to make the decision.
When I first spoke to him he said he could get me xx amount but when it comes to application stage he is having trouble to get me the amount he said he could.0 -
If NatWest wont lend enough I don't see why theres a decision to make.
Why did he apply to NatWest if they wouldn't lend enough?I am a Mortgage Adviser

Have you checked your credit files to make sure your credit commitments aren't doubled-entered, perhaps following an address change?

Natwest's AIP was again 10k less than their affordability calculator. I'm not sure whether it is the mortgage broker or lender's affordability calculator or my credit history.
I checked equivalent and experian and everything on there are all fine.0
