Sainsburys 5p off a litre

Just been into Sainsbury's to get a gift card for a birthday, I got a £50 card and I got 5p off a litre. If you get £10 think you get 1p off per litre!! Bargain if you need a gift or better still if you are buying something in a high street store just go and get a gift card and get money off your petrol too!:T

Strange how when Sainsbury's announced losses this morning, they'd made a loss on their fuel sales too.


Unfortunately, my local Sainsbury's doesn't have a petrol station and it may not be cost effective to drive to the nearest one. They'd have to be very good to beat our local Asda fuel prices.

Sainsburys is generally the lowest price locally - matches Asda and beats the BPs and Shells of this world.
