Keep in mind that while this is a smartphone, it's an old one and can't run software meant for current Nokia smartphones.

(For the technically inclined: the N70 is S60 release 2, and newer ones are release 3. Software written for one won't work on the other.)

Having said that, the N70 was a really popular phone back in its day, it's just a bit dated now.

The N70 cannot be unlocked free online, I "believe" it can be done at high street shops how ever I can only confirm that once i start to try and get it unlocked on the high street.
