Out of the blue BlackHorse refund, is it as simple as it seems?!

Hi, this is my first post here, I hope I'm in the right category. Anyhow this morning I received a letter from Blackhorse finance company that read, in summary, the following: following a review of the annual statement of your account, we have identified that we did not remind you of your ridge to voluntarily terminate your contract before completeion.

The consequence of this is we are not entitled to any of the interest paid by you. You will receive a full refund of £905.88.

Im interested to see if anyone else has recieved this letter or a similar one? Is it as simple as that? Or are they covering up something similar to the whole PPI scandal and simply trying to settle it before it becomes something larger?

Is there a number on the letter? I would phone them up double check.
