OK quick question....say for example I was to visit my GP with a medical condition could this be noted on a family members record without my consent?

No, not without your consent. I can't think of any exceptions but if you give us more details we may be able to advise further. Could there be a child protection issue?0

Im not sure if other trusts work differently, especially on the mainland, however, I would think that due to patient confidentiality (for anyone over 16), the information could not be passed to other patients, or noted on their files. If it was, and the other family member requested access to their files, they would see this information.
I know any time I have been to my doctor, I am asked if there have been any changes to family medical history. Most of my family are in the same practice and often seen by the same doctor, so any info on my file regarding other family members has been volunteered by myself, not matched from other recordsMortgage = [STRIKE]£113,495 (May 2009)[/STRIKE] £67462.74 Jun 20190
