Hmmm not sure if this is a win?

I woke up this morning to find a letter with voucher for a prize I 'apparently' won and entered on babyexpert.co.uk.
The reason I am so skeptical about it is because 1. I can't find the OP despite finding all babyexperts other comps 2. It is for 4 baby's first photoshoot sessions. The photoshoot and 1 7x5 photo is free each time you go but I don't think I would have entered the comp as I live in Derby and the nearest studios to me are Birmingham or Manchester so slightly to far to drive for it when my local snapfish does a tots tuesday for £10 which is basically the same thing
I apparently won 1st prize in a comp a few years ago to have a champagne reception, make-up & hair done and photoshoot with a friend but when we arrived everyone there had won 1st prize and the champagne reception was bucks fizz in plastic re-used cups!!! All the "winners" looked the same (hair straightened, thick dark make-up, brown nail polish etc) with the same members of staff poorly specialising in everything!!!
The photo's cost £500 and were only available on disc- not a good day :eek:
Sorry for rambling on a bit but has anyone had the same thing or any ideas where it might of come from????
Thanks

Hmm I can't find the competition either, but interestingly all the ones from june and july seem to be gone, in the search only august and may ones come up.
If it helps, I seem to remember that competition, because I almost accidentally entered it when I was on a roll and not paying much attention.
Maybe someone else knows more0 -
If it was entered on baby expert it sounds like it could be a win, well done. What else does it say in the letter - how do you claim the prize? If you have to send any money dont cos its normally a scam if thats the case.
I would though say it sounds genuine when its been won through babyexpertWeight Loss - 102lb0 -
Thanks for the replies..
The letter is pretty basic and isn't actually addressed to me (the envelope obviously was). It basically says Congratulations you have won (the prize in the OP), after entering a competition on babyexpert.com (but the site is actually .co.uk and not .com
)
I am more than happy if it is a genuine win but I can't find the op to thank the op and nor can I find the comp on babyexpert, I think I might be a bit skeptical cos I don't think I would have entered knowing the traveling involved and the experience I had...
But hey ho maybe I'll offer it on the forum as I don't think I'll get much use from it :j0 -
D'oh- forgot to say that they want a £10 booking fee which is refundable. Does that make a difference to wether you think its ligit or not?
Thanks0 -
Ooops maybe I should have tried it- the only reason I didn't is because I have it in my bookmarks and when I clicked on it thats how I picked it up0
